Foraged non-alcoholic spirits

Field Guide non-alcoholic spirits distils its own flavour profile from different types of lush landscape, so you can swap the classics from the old-fashioned drinks cabinet for an alcohol-free version. With it, the fruitslager looks after lush forests and salt marshes. A field guide to the flavours of our landscape: resinous spruce, smoked peat, herbal meadowsweet.

Flavour extraction

Flavour extraction

Endless flavours hide all around us, most of all where nature is wild. Every ingredient asks for its own treatment to draw out the flavour we’re after. Field Guide uses different techniques: distilling, infusing, fermenting. All with one goal: to surpass the intensity of a spirit, to recognise that warming mouthfeel and to take you back to that one memory.

Mocktail

Mocktail

Field Guide makes your glass even more layered and daring. Add a splash of Mineral Pine Forest to your mocktail for a mineral, botanical freshness, add Woody Reed Lands for warming spice and add Salt Marsh Peat for a smoky, dry kick. Field Guide is the perfect partner to turn your glass of Roze Bunker into a delicious, layered mocktail! Cheers to flavour without the alcohol!

Field Guide

Field Guide

Field Guide is an ode to the field guides of Roger Phillips, the first books on my shelf. Roaming through wild landscapes in search of trees, mushrooms and plants that looked like the pictures in his books. With every field guide I forgot the previous one, but one thing stuck: the memory of how each species tasted. And all those little flavour memories led me, in my lab in the old watermill hidden in the wilderness, to Field Guide 0.0 spirits.

Go outside

Go outside

What you cherish, you take care of. Field Guide was created to share flavour stories, to learn from nature the way Roger Phillips and my ancestors taught me, and to put the money back into the lush nature where magical flavours lie hidden. Every plant holds hidden flavours. In nature you first have to learn what to respect, then what could be dangerous, and only then how something tastes.
