With the Fruitslager menu we make it easier for restaurants, bars and consumers to restore the landscape. Because we are destroying biodiversity at a rapid pace: the landscape has become monotonous and native species have disappeared from the business model of our food industry. Food has become destructive, while most of the flavour is hidden in the lush landscape. That's why the fruitslagers are developing a growing plan in which the products themselves restore this landscape, with things like tempeh from forgotten bean varieties, non-alcoholic whiskey from peat soil and salty plants, iced tea made from local herbs, and an alternative to natural wine made from organic grapes and flavours from the food forest.
The Fruitslagers work with a whole network of farms to restore this landscape. These pioneers are spread across the Netherlands, so we can rewild on many different soil types. Curious where an ingredient comes from, or do you grow a crop and are looking for someone to process it? Send us a message.
Want to use ingredients for a product of your own, or have Fruitslagers develop one for you? Don't hesitate to get in touch.

Field Guide replaces alcohol by applying different distillation techniques to foraged herbs and spices. With the profits we look after the nature where we found these herbs, or support the regenerative farmers who grow these spices. We take you along on a field guide of flavour through the landscape.

Fruitslagers don't just restore the land, they restore the food industry too. Because the leftovers of used products hold the most flavour. So we turn hazelnut leftovers from Veld 4 into a delicious syrup, transform our Boonzaak tempeh scraps into a tempeh chili oil, and steep wild herbs into a vinegar with Szechuan and elderflower. That's how we close loops and create new business models for the regenerative food industry.

Roze Bunker makes soda as a solution, and was the very first Fruitslagers product. For these sodas we've spent years planting elderflower and wild herbs that enrich biodiversity and create an extra income stream for regenerative farmers. Read here which farmers we work with and how we go about it.
